I am a life-long artist who enjoys working in acrylics, watercolor, and colored pencil. Most of my work focuses on realism with the goal of capturing a moment in time in a loose, and expressive manner. I practice serendipitous art, meaning art that is built on happy accidents, utilizing prominent brush strokes and layering of color. My favorite subjects are landscapes, portraits, and animals.

I have a Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a concentration in illustration. I also hold a Master's degree in professional counseling, and I love to mix these two worlds by exploring and expressing human nature, emotion, and psychology in my work. My goal is to explore and portray emotion and to elicit the same in the viewer.
